Endowment Book of Life
The Endowment Book of Life program honors donors who promise to make a future gift through the Jewish Community Foundation for the benefit of agencies, organizations, synagogues or programs that have been important to them during their lives, or for the Fund for Jewish Philanthropy to meet future needs of the Jewish community. The individuals who sign the Endowment Book of Life make a commitment that either during their lifetime or through a bequest, a portion of their estate will remain as an endowment. On the pages of the Endowment Book of Life, signers share their values, visions, histories and hopes. Entries serve as an enduring legacy demonstrating the commitment of each generation to the next . . . l'dor v'dor. We invite everyone to participate in the Endowment Book of Life program. There is no minimum commitment required to sign the book. The Endowment Book of Life is displayed in the lobby of the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus, where generations of Jews can connect with those who came before them and draw from them the inspiration to create legacies for the future. A touch screen display allows everyone to "page through the book" and read all the wonderful stories that make up our past, our present and our future. The book serves as a testament of commitment to giving life to the future. The Jewish Community Foundation hosts an annual event for those who have signed the Endowment Book of Life. If you have made provisions in your will or trust for the benefit of the Jewish community, or intend to do so, please contact us at info@jcfphoenix.org or call (480) 699-1717. |
