JCF Raises Nearly $6.3 Million in 2016 to Support our Local Community and Jews in Israel
The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix concluded 2016 with $46.5 million in assets under management. In 2016, JCF made grants totaling more than $5.5 million and closed nearly $6.3 million in new gifts — an increase of nearly $1 million over the prior year.
Together with its twelve community partners, and with support from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the Jewish Community Foundation also completed the first year of LIFE & LEGACY. By the end of 2016, JCF had assisted our local partners in securing more than 400 end-of-life endowment commitments with an estimated future value of more than $18 million!
These achievements and more are products of the hard work of our dedicated staff and the outstanding leadership of our exceptional board of directors. And, of course, none of it could happen without the financial contributions of the most loyal, dedicated, and forward-thinking donors in our community. Your support is critically important, not just to the Jewish Community Foundation, but to the entire community we serve, both at home and in Israel. On behalf of our local Jewish community and those we serve in Israel, JCF is grateful beyond measure for your support.
