Join us to meet Sefitu Ezra from the Ethiopian National Project
B’nai Tzedek fund holders, Youth Philanthropy Board members, YPB alumni, and their parents are invited to join us for a special presentation about the Ethiopian National Project, a Youth Philanthropy Board grant recipient in May 2017.
Sefitu Ezra is a 19 year-old Israeli who emigrated with her family from Ethiopia at age 7. Sefitu is a graduate of an extraordinary enrichment program created by the Ethiopian National Project, designed to help Ethiopian-Israeli teens fulfill their dreams and build bright futures.
Sefitu will share the personal story of her life’s quantum leap from drawing river water near her Ethiopian village at age 7 to drawing blood at age 19 as a National Service Volunteer at Soroka Hospital in Beersheva. Thanks to the Ethiopian National Project, Sefitu is one big step closer to fulfilling her dream of becoming a doctor. Click here to read more about Sefitu Ezra.
Please join us for this very special opportunity to learn first-hand about the great work being supported by our Youth Philanthropy Board.
